What We’re About

Renovation Covenant Church is passionate about nurturing the full flourishing of individuals and communities, as we follow Jesus toward the restoration of all things.

We aim to create inviting spaces where people from a variety of places on their faith journey can feel comfortable showing up and bringing their whole selves—their passions, their questions, their doubts, their gifts—and be pointed toward Jesus and loved in his community.

Here are a few things that are really important to us.

We build on the Bedrock.

Jesus is the foundation of our faith, the cornerstone on which we build our lives, the level to which we align our actions and attitudes. He is lens through which we view everyone and everything. Being a Christian means following Jesus, as we live in relationship with him. Everything else is just icing. (And filling up on icing, instead of the main course, can make you really sick.)

We are always becoming.

We are all in the process of becoming, whether we realize it or not, and we are all at different places in our journeys.

At Renovation, we believe that every human being is a masterpiece with a mission, and we strive to live into that, together. We value difference and diversity as part of God’s plan for this world, to help us come to know him better, and to accomplish the good work he has set before us.

Come on in, don’t mind the mess.

Renovation is messy. If we’re afraid to let anyone in until everything looks spic and span, we’re going to spend a lot of time cleaning and hiding our junk, and still feel lonely and isolated. Instead, we joyfully invite others into our real lives, as they are right now, and are as gracious about other’s people’s messes as we hope they are with ours. Come on in, don’t mind the mess.

Don’t be a stranger!

We’d love to connect with you.
